Activities Rules
Activities are drawn images or literature pieces of your Lirse participating in exploring, hunting, or studying in the goal of getting various items! Activities can earn you fish, pelts, carrots, and other various items. Check out the Item Masterlist to see what certain items can do and their worth! Items can be redeemed for Shiny Coins, traded amongst members, used for future crafting, and more.
To create a log, you can use a Deviantart Journal or Image submission. These will be where your items will be rolled, having a log is essential to get items from your rolls! You can have a mass tracker or a separate tracker for each lirse. At the top of your log should be links to any specific comment you want your rolls to be placed, admins are not responsible for combing through cluttered logs to find where you want your results!
Lirseling, Kaelums-Voice, and any official admins are only permitted to post roll results, whether it was a fail or a success. Any members found commenting results are invalid. Deleting logs will result in losing all of your proof of items you obtained.
General Information - Rules
Lirse of any rank may participate in activities.
The maximum number of Lirse that can participate in a single activity image 3.
Any more exceeding the limit will not be rolled and will not qualify for the Activity SP Bonus.
Any Lirse participating must be uploaded on Kaelums-Voice.
An image or literature must be rolled for the same activity type.
You cannot have one lirse rolled for hunting and one lirse rolled for exploring in the same image.
Once an activity piece is rolled, the results are final. Any forgotten forms, adding in forms, or editing a lirse in will not be accounted for, as it is your responsibility to submit any forms for the piece prior to submitting the activity to be rolled.
Once an activity image is rolled, the image may not be reused for another activity, rites, events, etc.
Results are rolled 100% randomly, but ranks, items/companions, and consumables may increase success rate or item odds.
You have creative freedom over your submissions. This includes but not limited to style, color, fantasy or real world locations, and medium.
Prey can be depicted in unnatural colors, as long as we can tell what the prey is.
Activities do not need to take place in the canon world if Omsitera.
Lirse must be depicted as their own species; you may not draw them as shape-shifters, ferrets, weasels, rats, etc. They must resemble their import to the best of your abilities species wise and design wise, including feathers or other distinguishing traits.
You may not use paid/free bases, reuse your own bases, copy and paste bases.
You must use unique art assets for your activities. Elements, backgrounds, lirse, prey, etc must be unique and anything else you draw in an image.
This also applies to literature- you may not plagiarize your own work or anyone else's. Rephrasing/rewording, copy/pasting, and using generators are included.
If you disable comments on your submissions it will not be rolled, admins need to be able to comment if your piece needs corrections. Whether or not you linked to an activity tracker.
Hunting pieces may include blood or gore, but it is not required. Excessive amounts of gore or blood should be submitted with the proper DeviantArt filter as mature content.
In hunting, your lirse must be stalking, chasing, or studying the prey. Studying the prey includes your Lirse writing notes or observing up close/away in the distance.
Prey may not include humans, humanoids, other lirse, or other ARPG species.
Prey must be at least 50% visible in art, and mentioned half as many times as lirse in literature.
Any unofficial prey may be used in Hunting.
To use this feature, list your prey as “Prey: Untagged; Example Animal”.
Untagged prey only includes animals from real-life, past or present. Fantasy or made up animals like an alligator with wings are not allowed.
Untagged prey may not be game characters such as digimon or pokemon, or humans/humanoids, lirse, or other ARPG species.
You must list any bonuses you wish to use such as Ranks, Companions, and Traits if applicable. If you do not want a specific bonus rolled for, do not list it.
Any forgotten bonuses will not be re-rolled for.
If including other ARPG species, clearly separate forms with a border, such as a group icon.
Your activity images are judged against your own other activity images/gallery. If a submission looks rushed, indefinable, or lower in quality it may be denied.
Semi-complex backgrounds are required. This means ground and/or sky and at least three additional elements such as rocks, sticks, bones, flowers, bushes, etc.
Activities must have 3-4 unique elements, 2 of the same element will not count as 2 separate elements.
Elements should take up any blank space in an image, this is to avoid throwing 3 small elements in a corner and calling it good. If there is significantly large amounts of blank space, it will be asked to be corrected.
Elements must be tonally defined (colored in or shaded) and “stand apart” from other elements. For example, if a layer of grass and a bush are blending in/same colors, they are not tonally defined apart and will not count as 2 solid elements.
There must be at least 1-2 hand drawn elements and it must be obvious. Doing a whole activity image with mostly brushes and having something small being hand drawn may be missed, having 2 hand drawn elements will help with playing it safe. Admins should not have to second guess themselves over if an element is hand drawn or not.
Undefined/Uncolored “elements”, stamps, silhouettes, scribbles, and blobby shapes do not count as elements.
75% of the lirse must be visible to qualify. Prey must be 50% visible to qualify.
50% of prey includes hind end and tail, front end and head, etc.
You may not use silhouettes - they will not count for a lirse being rolled, prey, or elements. Silhouettes include objects being depicted as one solid color with no defining lines.
Grayscale, limited color-palette, and black and white images are accepted, the markings of the lirse must be clearly depicted by different shades. Elements must also be depicted in different shades so we can tell what elements are which.
Minimum size requirement is 300x300. Cut outs, transparent BGs outside a shape, etc are acceptable as long as 50% of the lirse is on the background and not in transparent/white space.
The ratio of lirse to background should be around equal, there shouldn't be a massive amount of background and a little lirse in the background and vice versa - there shouldn't be little to no background and the majority of the image be a lirse.
Each canvas will be treated as one activity image. If you have a comic page or put multiple rolls on one canvas, it will be rolled as one image.
The lirse's markings must be distinguishable and they must have facial features. This includes eye(s), or nose, or both. Perspective is taken into consideration of this rule, but if you can see the face of the lirse, you will have to include a facial feature.
Lirse should not be drawn as stick figures, this includes stick legs, stick tails, etc.
Literature - Rules
Submissions need a minimum of 1,000 words and must focus on the activity taking place.
You may use different points of views throughout your submission, as long as it is clear that the lirse is present and meets the requirement of having them mentioned throughout the piece.
Collabs, splits, soleplays must be labeled with who did which paragraph/s.
Literature pieces should have a clear beginning and ending.
Lirse names should be mentioned at least 7 times throughout the whole piece. Mentioned lirse only in the beginning or end won't be accepted; they should be actively participating.
They/She/He/It and other gender pronouns will not count for how many times a lirse has been mentioned. This goes for prey as well.
Prey should be mentioned at least half the times as the lirse has been mentioned.
“Fluff” or excessively describing something to get more words such as a lirse’s markings is not allowed.
Repeating the same descriptions or rewording/repeating sentences counts as “fluff”.
To have a piece rolled, fill out the appropriate activity form in the description or comments and submit it to the group in the appropriate folder. Lirseling, Kaelums-Voice, or an official admins will roll the results, comment them in the logs, and the rolled submission will be moved to completed.
You may submit 5 pieces a day per activity. Friends and alt accounts may not be used to circumvent this unless your friends have lirse present in the image. Doing so will result in ban from activities ranging from a week to perma depending on how many times this rule is broken.
