Chimeras can occur in any breeding, though the chances are extremely low. This is non-hereditary mutation.
When a Lirse is affected by this mutation, they have two separate sets of genos present on a single individual. Both sides appear on the Lirse in patches.
Design Notes:
At minimum, 25% of one side of the genotypes must be visible.
> Patches on the right side of the Lirse cannot be judged.
Edges of the patchwork must be hard edged, soft, or textured.
Markings may only be expressed on the "side" that has the marking.
> If you have Dust with Capped and Cardinal with Dipped, then Capped may only be present on the Dust side.
CORRECT - A good example of Chimera
In some ways, the maximum and minimum of Chimera is one image; the max that can be visible of one geno is 75%, and the minimum visible is 25%.
INCORRECT - This chimera appears unnatural, with the spots too circular.
INCORRECT - Markings from one side of a lirse cannot affect the other; here, shawl from the Carrot side of the geno is displaying on the Anole side, and the back stripe of Hood is carrying over onto the Carrot patch.
