Flash is a free marking that creates a light gradient on the inner wing, crest, and tail of the lirse.
Design notes:
It must be lighter than the marking it sits on or white.
It must have a gradient edge, although it can be solid where the feathers attach to the arms.
Red represents maximum range. Flash has no minimum range.
CORRECT
This flash ends at the base of the feathers.
INCORRECT
The flash on the crest has a soft edge, and on the arms and tail it has a hard edge.
Flash may display "partially", as in the examples below.
Flash may display on Tufted Tail.
It may not display on Crestless or Shaggy Tail.
