Edits may not use existing media- such as official art from Lirse-Domis- nor may they infringe upon the copyright of existing works.
You may draw inspiration from copyrighted characters but you may not copy them directly.
Total paint coverage cannot exceed the plum range used for Creator's Soft Touch.
Paints may not mimic colors existing on the design, and thus may not be used to alter the coverage of a marking.
Edits must be PG, although some mimicking of blood is allowed as long as it is not graphic.
List the designers of items and edits in the appropriate section of the import information template during the design approval process.
A single edit item may be used for multiple edits of the same variety. For example, a single Creator's Soft Touch may be used to add fluff to the chin and the eyebrows, but a single Creator's Heavy Touch may not add both an expression change as well as a crown.
Scar edits must not be so extreme that they require a mature filter on deviantART.
Scars will be judged with admin discretion and may be sent to corrections if they are deemed too extreme.
Missing teeth, limbs, eyes, etc are allowed as long as they are not too extreme.
Decor may be added to your Lirse official import by crafting the relevant items and then applying them to your import. You may also apply items through The Den in Import Approvals.
The names are Creator’s Soft Touch (plum - small edits), Creator’s Heavy Touch (aqua - large edits). They allow for customization on your import whether that be item additions (a satchel, necklace, piercing) or line edits (crest edits, tail edits, expression).
The following rules apply:
Decor items may not cover more than 50% of your Lirse body.
Lines edits may not mimic existing physical traits and may not change more than 75% of the official Import lines.
Example, you may not remove the crest from a Classic Crest lirse.
Connector items such as simple straps, rope, string, etc are not considered in the item size unless they are highly decorated or elaborate.
In the case of a necklace with a moon pendant and a thin black rope, only the pendant would be counted for the size.
Adding items in the foreground is allowed! You may not, however, alter the background in any way.
Copyright on the import backgrounds may not be altered or hidden in any way.
You are welcome to crop ears (not fully remove), remove up to two limbs (prosthetics would count for this),
You may not fully remove the ears or fully remove the tail.
Alterations to the pose is allowed! The Lirse must remain in the default angle, but you may reposition legs and tails as long as the anatomy is not altered. Additionally, new positioning may not cover the body of the Lirse more than the default pose.
You may not use altered pose to cover or hide markings.
Only the arms, legs, and tail may move; the head and body must remain in place.
Lirse may have scars added to their import images, as well! The item required is called Scar Set and it may be purchased from the Shop.
The following rules apply:
One scar set allows for up to three scars on your import. These may be spread out across the entire Lirse or in a single area.
Scarring cannot exceed the plum range used for Creator's Soft Touch.
The scars may not alter official lineart. If you want your scars to affect the lineart, you must also apply a Creator's Touch to the edits, as well.
You also have the ability to add paints and dyes to your lirse. The item for this is Custard's Paint Palette, and as with other import edits, it can be added to your Lirse official import by crafting the relevant items and then applying them to your import. You may also apply items through The Den in Import Approvals.
The following rules apply:
One Palette allows for up to 5 small paints on your import, or one large one. These may be spread out across the entire Lirse or in a single area.
Total paint coverage cannot exceed the purple range used for Creator's Soft Touch.
Paints may not mimic colors existing on the design, and thus may not be used to alter the coverage of a marking.
