Sarah Kaushik is a scenographer and spatial storyteller based in Utrecht with roots in India. Her practice centres on participatory scenography — site-specific, co-creative projects that invite people to reimagine their relationship with landscape through narrative, walking and sensory experience.
Guided by a deep curiosity about how human and more-than-human worlds intertwine, she creates performative encounters that explore belonging, care and coexistence at the intersection of nature, storytelling and cultural heritage. Her work treats place as a living presence — a site for dialogue, reflection and renewal — encouraging audiences to form more attentive and imaginative relationships with the environments they inhabit.
