excursions and other activities

On our first excursion, we went to Saung Angklung Udjo where we were able to witness the different performances from the different parts of Indonesia and West Java. We also watched their performances using musical instruments made from bamboos. After the show, we had the chance to play 'angklung'.  Overall, the experience was fun and the ticket for the show was a bamboo necklace which is also a souvenir for the tourists. 

We also went to Gracia Hot Spring located in Lembang and it was one of the best experiences I had. The water was very relaxing and it is a good idea to visit the place after a long, tiring, day. The place is good for leisure and relaxation. 

We joined an event held by the Directorate of International Affairs. The program showcased different foods and cuisine from different nationalities. Aside from that, they also performed songs and dances that showcased the rich culture of different countries. We represented the Philippines by preparing Filipino foods. We cooked kwek-kwek and empanadita which most of the tasters enjoyed. Overall, it was a fun experience and we were able to meet people from different countries and make new friends.
