Thanksgiving 2020
Dear Friends and Family -
I hope this message finds you healthy and well.
I am happy to say that Stable Mable is still my friend. I had scans mid-month and according to the radiologist and my oncologist the bone metastasis are stable. This is excellent news. We are all relieved, this is the best news we can hope for (other than a cure).
We are staying home for the reasons that many of you are - avoid COVID. It's been hard, not gonna lie. We are grateful for expedited science and the distribution of the vaccine. The first doses reached some Colorado health care professionals this past week.
Our holiday season is looking very different (as I'm sure yours are). We will get out to view holiday lights at the Zoo and Denver Botanic Gardens and enjoy the lights in our neighborhood. We are making gingerbread houses, doing a holiday movie marathon this month and an ugly sweater competition. Nothing like a pandemic to help you exercise your creativity.
We wish you a safe and relaxing holiday season. Let's hope 2021 brings us more advances in science - leaps and bounds!
Be well.
