This artifact is from my education 380 class, we had to work with a classmate and evaluate each others lesson plans we previously created.

This artifact connects to the professional teaching standard 8.8K which states that "the competent teacher participates in collaborative decision-making and problem-solving with colleagues and other professionals to achieve success for all students;" because my partner and I worked togther during our peer evaluation processes to help one another adjust our lesson plans.

This assignment was very helpful with understanding and seeing how other people plan and think. As well as gain ideas that you can carry with you in your teaching.

This artifact is a group project, the assignment was to pick a Illinios standard and a sport and create a pre and post assement to show growth. My group chose basketball layups, we had the students shoot 10 layups without teaching them the proper for and then had the shoot 10 layups again after they were taught the proper form to see the difference.

I believe this connects with professional teaching standard 8.8C "the competent teacher collaborates with others in the use of data to design and implement effective school interventions that benefit all students;" because we worked together s a group to collect data that fit the Illinios teaching standard we were given.

This was a nice project to help look more into the Illinios teaching standards and work together to collect data to support the standard.
