This artifact is an assessment project that I created for my Educational psychology class, I participated in my second semester as a senior at Trinity Christian College. The mission was to create a test using the Bloom's Taxonomy plication levels and higher to for questions.
I believe that this artifact connects with the professional teaching standard 7.7J "the competent teacher uses assessment results to determine student performance levels, identify learning targets, select appropriate research-based instructional strategies, and implement instruction to enhance learning outcomes" from the test I made I will be able to use the reults to see what the test takers understand from what waw taught.
Altogether, this project was challenging yet rewarding. To make up test and having to use Bloom's Taxonomy aplication or higher level questions was unsettling at first. But, once I started I got the hang of it and I am happy with my effort and end result.
This artifact is an assessment I created for an english class during a poetry unit for my Middle grades literacy class. The idea of this project was to see how we as teachers would come up with a lesson plan with a summative assessment and what the assessment would consist of and how we would grade the students as well as how we can help them after we grade them if they need the help.
I believe this artifact connects with content standard 7.7J "the competent teacher uses assessment results to determine student performance levels, identify learning targets, select appropriate research-based instructional strategies, and implement instruction to enhance learning outcomes" because after we graded the students work we would determine what type of help the students might need to better thier understanding.
This project was an eye opener and helped me as an upcoming teacher realize your can continue to help a student after the test, unit, or project they completed instead of giving them a grade and sending them on their way.
