Parts of A Church

During mass my mind sometimes wanders away from the mass to my to do list, to where I have to go after mass, etc. I was thinking of what I could do to bring my mind back. I found a children's book with a picture of the sanctuary and the definition of each of the sanctuary parts. I used this in my classroom and taught one part weekly with pictures of what it looked like in the actual church that the school was attached to. Now when my mind wonders I think of what I taught the children about altars, relics, stained glass, statues, symbols, etc and my mind comes right back to the beauty and sacredness of the mass. Our Catholic faith is rich with this. Maybe this picture or idea will help you if your mind wanders during mass.
