Online Courses
Active learning with hands-on experiences is typically more difficult online, especially for students who learn best by doing. Training is offered to on-campus professors to make the shift to fully online classes. Lehman uses Zoom for Online sessions. Zoom Link needs to be submitted at least 1 week before the first day of class.
Hybrid Courses
Hybrid formats split time between on-campus and virtual environments. Attend on-campus classes at designated times and engage in virtual learning activities, which may be synchronous or asynchronous. In this modality, coursework is intentionally designed to be delivered virtually for specific activities and in-person for others.
Permit students the ability to choose to participate in the course through a variety of available modalities: face-to-face, virtual synchronous, asynchronous online. The number of modalities available to students will vary from course to course. Students can move among available modalities throughout the semester.
In-Person Courses
In-person course formats offer the interaction and familiarity of face-to-face learning and allow interaction among all those present. You will need to upload your vaccine verification to CUNY First and update your Digital Access Pass.
With Google Classroom, you can view all student work in one place and track student progress, making it easier to view completion of course work.
