The 2026 NCLCT Program outlines the proceedings for the 11th National Conference on Learner-Centered Teaching, co-hosted with the North Central Region of the American Association for Agricultural Education (NC-AAAE) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from October 7–9, 2026. Supported by a NIFA 1890 Capacity Building Grant in partnership with Langston University and Purdue University, the program features 16 peer-reviewed oral presentation abstracts centered on advancing learner-centered pedagogy, collaborative partnerships across 1890 and 1862 land-grant universities, and educational innovation. Featured session topics include student motivation, near-peer mentoring, artificial intelligence integration, experiential learning, course design models, and strategies for fostering well-being and belonging in higher education.
