Review Responsible Use (LARK), Introduce Using Email, and Posting Online
We start the lesson by having a classroom meeting and reviewing previous Internet Safety lessons:

1. You cannot easily delete something you post online.
2. Before you text or post something, think about (A) Would my family be upset about this if they saw it? (B) Could this hurt someone else's feelings or embarrass them? (C) Do I know and trust the person I am sending it to?
3. If I have a funny picture of someone should I: (A)post it (B) text it to friends (C) or keep it to myself since it might embarrass my friend? Answer is C

1. Nothings you post online is completely private.
2. Online, you should never share personal information such as phone number, address, social security, etc.

After full class lesson, students take a simple quiz addressing questions from lesson. Once they make a 100% (if a student answers incorrectly, the quiz will review with the student the correct answer), the students learn about the Gaggle Homepage and Composing an Email.
