Every Friday’s “Appy Friday” post includes a list of free Kindle books that you can “purchase” and load to your iPads (purchase through Amazon and it syncs with the free Kindle App).
Did you know you can also show these purchased books using your laptop and project the book onto your Promethean Board? Once you have purchased the book, it is actually pretty simple to project the book. Here are the steps:
After you purchase the Kindle book from Amazon (even free books are purchased-you just don’t own any money)
Go to “Your Account’ in the upper right hand corner of your logged in Amazon account (Amazon owns Kindle)
Choose “Mange Your Content and Devices”
click “actions” –a square with three dots-next to the book you just purchased
Choose Read Now
You can now project the book via your laptop and projector.
Now that’s a “big book”!
FYI: Here are a two freebies
(please note that Amazon-Kindle books can change prices at any time so look at the Kindle price before “purchasing”)

Info sent in the "Appy Friday" posts:
Books: The free iOS Kindle app allows you to load even more wonderful books on to your iDevice. And Amazon offers some books free and on sale each day. Remember that you don't need an Amazon Kindle to take advantage of this offer. You can download Kindle books (which is through Amazon) to iPhones, select Blackberrys, Droids, iPads, Macs, and PCs. Unlike iBooks, Amazon prices can change hourly, so grab these quickly before they go back to full price!
