The labbies come from many different backgrounds, are at many different stages of academic and professional development, and have many different research and career interests. Broadly speaking, our work is primarily in the domains of Contextual Behavioral Science, Applied and Clinical Behavior Analysis, Process-Based Approaches, Interbehaviorism and Interbehavioral Psychology. That being said, a lot of our work will have components that reflect the philosophical and theorectical foundations of those approaches.
Here is where you'll find the work we've done (and are currently doing) in these areas. Many folks in the lab have published books, book chapters, and conceptual and empirical articles. Additionally, the lab values dissemination and the progression of science and scientific thought, and thus, we regularly attend and present at regional, national, and international psychological conferences. Likewise, the lab constantly has a significant number of projects and studies, all at various stages and dedicated to a broad range of topics. Browse the individual pages below to discover the ways the lab stays involved in, and contributes to, the scientific community.
Check out some of the publications that the lab and individual labbies have been a part of! Although this webpage does not include an exhaustive list of all labbie or lab-affiliated publications, it does represent the diverse thought, dedication, and ongoing pursuit of the lab in our efforts to disseminate, collaborate, and educate.
Conferences that lab regularly attend include the LaMiss Conference, Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS) World Conference, Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) Annual Convention, SexABA Annual Conference, Women in Behavior Analysis (WIBA) Conference, and more. Check out this webpage to find more information on upcoming conferences & a list of conference presentations from the lab.
The lab is a diverse group of folks from many different backgrounds and with many different interests, so the lab's study and project topics range dramatically—from body image flexibility and exercise to therapeutic processes and outcomes.
