End of course exams:

End of Course examinations will be administered in the following subjects: 

• • English I ,English II, 

  • Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II

  • U.S. History

  • Biology

What are College Admission Tests?

You may know college admission tests by name — the SAT and the ACT. These tests, also called college entrance exams, are designed to measure students’ skills and help colleges evaluate how ready students are for college-level work.  Most colleges consider scores on either of these exams during the college admission process and/or when awarding merit based scholarships.

TN State & District ACT Testing:

• Seniors will take the ACT in October of senior year.

• Juniors will take the ACT in March of junior year.

• Students will automatically be signed up by LCHS and there is NO cost to students.

National ACT Testing Dates:

• Students can register at www.myact.org

• Cost:$60

PSAT/NMSQT:

• Offered in October each year. 

• Practice SAT for 10th graders.

• Fall 2024 Student Guide

• Qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship Program for 11th graders.
