LCHS counselors are here to support all students to maximize their success in the areas of social/emotional, academic, and career/college development. We believe all students should be treated with dignity and respect. We also know that each of us encounters times in our lives when we need extra support. Our office is a safe place where students can feel comfortable in discussing their questions, concerns, and difficulties. We believe in working in collaborative teams (school, community, family) when appropriate to ensure student success.
Students who need assistance are encouraged to reach out to their counselor. Students can do this by stopping by the Counseling Center or by email. Counselor emails are listed at the bottom of this page.
School counselors are also equipped with resources should a student need support beyond our scoop of services. We welcome you to contact us should this be your situation. Counselor emails are located at the bottom of the page.
Students are also able to seek counseling services from our STARS Counselor, Mrs. Miller.
The Student Assistance Program (SAP) is an award-winning, evidence based program of STARS that addresses social and emotional barriers for youth, such as substance misuse, violence and bullying. SAP assists students in achieving academic and social success by promoting healthy development, reducing barriers to learning and building upon strengths.
Please complete the appropriate STARS Referral Form and Mrs. Miller will be in touch:
