The venue

About the venue

Laxön is very scenic and interesting, today a tourist goal, the houses were built in the 1920-ies as a military camp.

Today our house is a youth hostel with 4- and 8-bed rooms. A few singles and doubles are available - see below.

Next to our house murmur the rapids where salmon are jumping. Some of us every morning, before breakfast, make a walk with salmon watching. The weather is always good . . .

Most rooms are upstairs. We play and eat dinner and fika downstairs in the same house. Lunches are served in a nearby restaurant.

There is no air condition.

There are toilets and showers in the corridor and a sink in the room.

This year we will also use The Hall, a spacious house on the other side of the concrete bridge (where we do the morning salmon watching). The Hall is BIG with room for 4 groups.
