July 1987 article in Crescendo: Geoff has occasionally made *BBB models to special order, but as he rightly points out, “you cannot go on increasing the height of the baffle area, or the “shoulder” behind the rim tip ad lib, because there comes a point where it is defeating the object. Too much shoulder restricts the air-flow, and there just isn’t enough there, to convert into “edge”. Sounds stuffy instead.”
