Lawton's Own Description of the Model BB

Crescendo interview in 1979: The baffle is highest of all in the BB model, to offer even more brightness to the tone. The BB aims at maximum power and brightness, but without loss of good intonation.

  1. As for the “Plain” but with a higher baffle, straight sidewalls and a bullet chamber of medium size. The bullet feature sometimes has a hard edge and in other examples is smoothed off. Throat narrower than bore..
