Mordai Hope

The reason Mordai and Gash chose to come on the Lanternwurm is a more stable life. The gladiator arena and bar gigs were an inconsistent form of income, especially with the world as it is now. But if Gash can get a fight, he will go and beat someone up, and Mordai will influence and profit where he can.

The role that Mordai plays is someone who keeps the Overseer in the know. She cannot be everywhere at once and not all her agents may be fully truthful with her. He also will attempt to stop any uprising before it can start on the Lanternwurm. Only a select few, including Gash and the Overseer, know of Mordai’s underhand roles. To everyone else, he's just a bard.

As a tiefling, he has always wanted to fit in and that drove him to the College of Whispers. He wants to do more good than bad, but seeing as how his college is viewed as not so noble, it's uncertain how successful he'll be.

Personality Traits: Flattery is my preferred trick for getting what I want.

Ideals: I am determined to make something of myself.

Bonds: I owe everything to my mentor – a horrible person who’s probably rotting in jail somewhere.

Flaws: I am convinced that no one can fool me the way I fool others.
