ความเป็นมาของธุรกิจ

         ไร่ของเราปลูกกาแฟอาราบิก้าระดับโลกโดยไม่ใช้สารเคมี ปุ๋ย หรือยาฆ่าแมลง สูงจากระดับน้ำทะเล 1,300 เมตร ตั้งอยู่ในป่าที่ปกคลุมด้วยต้นไม้พื้นเมือง ต้นไม้เหล่านี้ให้ร่มเงาในปริมาณที่เหมาะสมแก่ต้นอ่อนกาแฟ ใช้ระบบการเพาะปลูกที่มีร่มเงาพร้อมการปกป้องสิ่งแวดล้อมและการใช้ธรรมชาติ การดูแลต้นกาแฟอย่างเอาใจใส่ ไร่ของเราใส่ใจในคุณภาพ ทุ่มเท มุ่งมั่นเพื่อปกป้องธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม และทำการศึกษาวิจัยสายพันธุ์กาแฟอาราบิก้าเพื่อค้นหาว่ากาแฟอาราบิก้าสายพันธุ์ใดที่สามารถปรับให้เข้ากับประเทศไทยได้ เพื่อเป็นพืชเศรษฐกิจทดแทนการปลูกฝิ่นในภาคเหนือของประเทศไทย จากการวิจัยเป็นเวลาหลายปีจึงได้ข้อสรุปว่าสายพันธุ์ Catimor เป็นเมล็ดกาแฟที่ให้ผลผลิตมากที่สุดในประเทศไทย จึงแนะนำสายพันธุ์นี้ให้กับโครงการหลวงและโครงการของสหประชาชาติ โครงการปลูกพืชทดแทนและพัฒนาชุมชน โดยดำเนินการในปี พ.ศ. 2515-2522 เราเป็นหนึ่งในไม่กี่คนที่ช่วยส่งเสริมและพัฒนากาแฟอาราบิก้าในประเทศไทย ตั้งแต่นั้นมา เราก็ปลูกกาแฟมาเกือบ 40 ปี MTT Coffee ก่อตั้งและจดทะเบียนในปี 2010 เรายังคงมุ่งมั่นทำการวิจัยและฝึกฝนการทำเกษตรอินทรีย์ต่อไป ในฐานะผู้บุกเบิกการผลิตกาแฟ ด้วยภูมิหลังของผู้ก่อตั้ง เราได้สนับสนุนชุมชนของเรา และสอนวิธีปลูกกาแฟ  แบบออร์แกนิก เรายินดีต้อนรับเกษตรกรเหล่านี้เข้ามาเป็นสมาชิกในฟาร์มของเราเพื่อสนับสนุนการปลูกกาแฟ เพื่อควบคุมคุณภาพ เราควบคุมการผลิตตั้งแต่การเพาะเมล็ดจนถึงการเก็บเกี่ยว และรักษามาตรฐานที่สอดคล้องกับสมาชิกในกลุ่มของเรา เพื่อสานต่อเจตนารมณ์ในการช่วยเหลือชุมชน

กาแฟอาราบิก้า สายพันธุ์ Catimor 

Our plantation grows world class Arabica coffee with no chemicals, fertilizers, or insecticides. The coffee is grown approximately 800 meters, and 1300 meters above sea level. The farm is located in the forest covered by indigenous trees which reach up to 30 meters or more. These trees provide the right amount of shade for the young coffee seedlings. Our farm, pays attention to the quality, dedication, and determination towards coffee. We find it important to develop better quality than quantity. For protecting nature and the environment, we have practiced forest cultivation for 40 years as a family-owned organic coffee farm business. Our founder, Phomueangkarw (father of Mr. Terapol) was researching Arabica coffee strains to find out which species of Arabica coffee is adaptable to Thailand. He was the head researcher of Highland Coffee Research and Development Center before coffee production was conducted as part of the Royal Project as a cash crop to replace opium cultivation in Northern Thailand. After many years of research, they concluded that the Catimor species was the most productive coffee bean in Thailand. They introduced the species to the Royal Project and UN Projects. Crop replacement and Community Development Project were conducted in 1972−1979. Our founder was one of the few people to help promote and develop Arabica coffee in Thailand. Since then, he has been growing coffee for nearly 40 years. MTT Coffee was created and registered in 2010. For better quality,we will continue researching and and practiceorganic farming. As pioneers of coffee producers; with our founders background, we have been supporting our community and teaching how to grow coffee organically. We welcome these famers to be a member of our farm to support growing coffee. To control the quality, we control the production from seeding to picking and maintain consistent standards with members of our farm. As a family, with our staff and the will of our founder, we are aiming to develop better quality beans by continuing the spirit of helping community.
