Longan Seed Extract is well known for its beneficial properties. Scientific research has shown that longan seeds contain important substances in the phenolic group, known as phenolics. There are three significant substances in particular, namely carboxylic acid, colacin, and ellagic acid, which possess antioxidant effects. These substances play a crucial role in slowing down cell deterioration, inhibiting inflammation, and aiding in recovery from inflammation. Moreover, ellagic acid prevents collagen degradation, which is essential for maintaining healthy collagen levels in the body. Collagen deterioration and the presence of free radicals over time can cause pain and joint issues, such as locked finger and osteoarthritis.
