The Association incurs expenses each year in connection with the annual meeting (and boat/parade/party!) , for special programs (e.g., outside speakers and materials), and for the "Clean Boats-Clean Waters" monitoring program to help keep aquatic invasive species out of Lake Julia. The last is by far the Association's largest expense. The total cost of the "CBCW" program is about $12,000; the State provides grant support of about $4,000 to match the commitment of the Association to cover the remainder.
