I have greatly enjoyed various works in the scenic realm, including design, construction, painting, dressing, and prop management. Anything hands-on brings me great joy, especially after my background in competitive robotics, and I love engineering challenges that need to be solved in a short period of time.

Full-stage choreography and a show only able to utilize a singular backdrop sounded like the perfect challenge. This was the most paint-dependent set I'd ever worked on, and I'm thrilled with how it turned out!

The biggest challenge going into this show was figuring out how to safely suspend someone from the ceiling in a small black box theatre space, and then how to tear down a wall mid-show safely. It was difficult, but also incredibly rewarding to see everything come together.

I worked on this show in a limited capacity, and primarily assisted in the build of the metal framing of the backdrop flats, as well as the staircases. However, I was able to work with a phenomenal crew, from performers in the Las Vegas Strip's Tournament of Kings to pyrotechnic designers at Battlebots.
