I have an array of experience costuming, including costume design as well as alterations, rhinestoning, hair and makeup, wig maintenance, distressing, and blood effects. Specific shows I have worked on include Charlotte's Web, Rossum's Universal Robots, Charlotte's Web, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, How to Defend Yourself, and Exit, Pursued by a Bear. This was my first passion in technical theatre due to my background in figure skating.

This show was the first I signed up to do lighting for, and Vanessa has been a phenomenal mentor. Outside of that, styling athleticwear requires a level of subtlety and working around actor's preferences, which was a wonderful challenge. The message of the show is very important to me, and I'm grateful to have worked on it.

This show covers some very serious and heavy topics, such as domestic violence, in comedic and entertaining ways. The cast was phenomenal at handling everything this show threw at them, from three inch heels and hair extensions to duct tape and tasers.

From the moment I heard the pitch for this new work, I knew I wanted to work on it. Having the ability to help shape a new work for its first ever audience was an opportunity I knew that I couldn't pass up. A horror comedy musical was also a genre that I didn't know could exist until this production. It was an incredible experience being entrused with a new work and being able to work with the first ever cast and crew of this show.

This show is, in reality, a collage of student-written pieces. I was approached and asked if I wanted to do blood effects, which turned into "can you make someone's brains come out on stage?" Everyone in this cast and crew is incredible, and I hope to work with them even more in the future.

Dark comedy is such a fun genre, especially when the play is a period piece. So much is expressed through the costumes and makeup, from physical traits to themes of the play. This show is a satirical masterpiece, and I'm glad to have been able to work on it.

The first time the term "robot" was coined; this show is an increasingly relevant piece of political commentary. I'm so grateful that I was able to be introduced to this phenomenal script, and then work with such a fun and talented cast and crew.

The best part about makeup is having the freedom to go wild, which made working on a show about farm animals all the more exciting. It was a joy to work with such an enthusiastic cast and crew.
