A. Graduation Period
Newly admitted students may graduate within 8 semesters, and transfer students within 4 semesters.
Students who have registered for six or more regular semesters and have met all graduation requirements may apply for early graduation.
Early graduation is not automatic. Students must submit an application during the designated application period, even if all graduation credits have already been completed.
B. Maximum Period of Study
Students must graduate within six years of admission, which is the maximum period allowed for extension of stay.
If the six-year period is exceeded, students cannot remain in Korea. However, if all graduation credits and requirements are fulfilled through online courses or other means, graduation may still be completed from the home country.
C. TOPIK Requirement for Graduation
International students must obtain TOPIK Level 4 or higher in order to graduate.
TOPIK scores submitted at the time of admission or during enrollment remain valid even after the official expiration date.
Please note that some departments may require TOPIK Level 5 or higher for graduation.
TOPIK scores for graduation must be submitted by the end of January or the end of July immediately prior to graduation.
D. Departmental Consultation
For detailed information regarding graduation requirements, students are strongly advised to visit and consult with their department office.
Graduation requirements vary by department, and students are responsible for confirming their individual requirements.
E. Departure After Graduation
Students who have graduated are not permitted to remain in Korea.
Students must depart Korea within 15 days from the official graduation date.
F. Graduation Deferment and Stay Extension
Applying for graduation deferment solely for the purpose of extending the period of stay will not be approved, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
