Applications for dormitory housing submitted through the general dormitory website are invalid for international undergraduate students.
International undergraduate students must apply by following the announcements posted on the notice board of the Konkuk University International Student Center website: http://ciss.konkuk.ac.kr

A. Both current residents and new applicants are eligible to apply.
B. Students on a leave of absence or planning to take a leave of absence are not eligible.
However, students who have not yet graduated or whose graduation has been deferred may apply only if their academic status is “enrolled.”
C. Students whose total demerit points from the previous semester exceed
15 points (for six-month residents), or
10 points (for semester residents) are not eligible to apply for dormitory admission.
D. Students deemed ineligible for residence by the dormitory administrative office are not permitted to apply.

A. Payment Method
Payment must be made to the individually assigned virtual account (International wire transfer is available).
In the case of international wire transfers, payment confirmation may be delayed.
Therefore, residents must obtain a remittance confirmation receipt from the local bank and submit it upon move-in.
After the resident list has been finalized, if a student is unable to move in due to unavoidable circumstances such as visa denial or withdrawal of admission, the case will be processed as a cancellation of move-in only if the student submits a move-in cancellation request before the move-in date.
B. Refund Policy upon Move-Out

Before the move-in start date:
Full refund of dormitory fees and meal plan fees
For international wire transfer refunds, all required information must be submitted to the International Student Center
Any bank fees and related charges are the responsibility of the student
From the move-in start date:
Refunds are processed according to the early move-out refund policy
Refunds are available only to domestic Korean bank accounts
Early Move-Out:
If a student moves out during the residence period, a refund will be issued after deducting a 30% penalty from the dormitory fee for the remaining days
End-of-Term Move-Out:
If the remaining dormitory period is three (3) weeks or less, calculated from the official end date of the residence period
No refund will be issued for the remaining dormitory fee or meal plan fee
Unauthorized Move-Out:
If a student leaves the dormitory without completing official move-out procedures (including submitting a move-out request and facility inspection)
No refund of dormitory fees or deposit will be issued
C. Deposit Refund
Deposit Payment:
The deposit is paid upon the first move-in during the academic year(March of the current year to February of the following year)
Deposit Refund:
The deposit will be refunded within three (3) days from the official move-out date (in cases of proper and approved move-out)
Method of Refund:
Deposits and dormitory fee refunds are returned only to a bank account in Korea under the student’s name
In cases of cancellation of move-in requiring an international refund, the refund will be processed based on the submitted banking information

This is a dedicated dormitory application.
It provides functions such as overnight stay requests and check-out support, among others.
The International Student Center assists only with the dormitory application process.
After moving in, students are required to visit the Cool House website and personally check and manage any necessary matters on their own.
