Game Assignments
All Game Assignments are done through the Arbiter software.

Notifications of assignments come via email. Please ACCEPT or DECLINE as quickly as possible.
Declines should be RARE provided your BLOCKS are kept accurate and up to date.
ARBITER Game Assignments
Arbiter has both a mobile app (download it now..see the AS logo below), and a desktop app (Arbiter) .
With these apps you maintain your availability schedule, and accept/decline your game assignments in a timely and accurate manner,
Upon registration you will receive an invitation link to access Arbiter...please use it to login as quickly as you can.
Take the time to setup your APRIL AVAILABILITY using the 'BLOCKS' menu option (perhaps setup May if you know your schedule that far in advance)
Here's a link to a 8 min YouTube which tells you how to setup your BLOCKS ...please watch this and then setup your blocks for the early season.

ARBITER - DESKTOP
Follow these steps to use the desktop application and setup your profile.
There are many options in Profile and Blocks which are NOT available on the mobile app.
Setup a Shortcut on your computer for your regular use ...
First of all, create a shortcut on your desktop to the url below
1. Go to https://www1.arbitersports.com/shared/signin/signin.aspx
2. At the sign in screen enter your email address (this one i just sent the email to)
3. If you've already successfully signed in, just enter your password which you had set up.
4. If you've not signed in, choose Forgot Password. This will ask you to enter the password you want to use, confirm it ..and it will send you an email and follow its directions...
From here on you can use your shortcut to go to
ARBITER - MOBILE (iPhone/Android)
Download the mobile app called 'ArbiterMobile' as shown below.
ArbiterMobile is perfect for
1. Accepting or Declining games,
2. getting game details
3. setting up Full Day blocks,
4. getting a contact list

MAIN MENU
• any special announcements from the assignor will be displayed here
• have a look around at the menu options
• most of your time you will spend on either Schedule or Blocks
• Schedule is where you see your games and Accept or Decline them
• Blocks is where you indicate days and time periods in which you will NOT be available to officiate
• But before you go there ..please go to the Profile menu ...this you will only have to do once to complete your personal info and setup how you are notified of games.
PROFILE MENU
• Update the default information in your personal profile... upload a photo so your partner will know who you are ;>)
* Make sure your cell number is correct, as your official team may wish to get a hold of you
* We don't need any of the fields in 'Other Information'
Select <Profile>.Preferences
• Select the options shown below, and choose SAVE
SCHEDULE
This menu option allows you to view all your game assignments in several formats.
I suggest having a look at all the ‘Display’ options, but generally start with ‘List View’.
The View by Month also displays your games and blocks
To ACCEPT your game assignment(s) simply choose the ‘Accept’ checkbox and click SUBMIT
Note: The color codes indicate the status of the game.. in my example below the game tomorrow in Chase is CANCELLED (in red).
BLOCKS < VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT>
Blocks indicate to the allocator the days and times you are open to accept games.
In a perfect world, if your blocks accurately show when you are available, you should almost NEVER DECLINE A GAME.
So take a few minutes each week to ensure your schedule is as accurate as possible.
This saves your assignor a huge amount of time if you manage this right.
In fact, take the time to block those days you are NOT available for April and May if possible.
If you work a regular daily shift, set that Block up as well ...keep reading to see how.
OPTIONS
* Block All Day
* Block Part Day
* Clear Blocks
* Add Notes
* Firm Block
Block off your 'Work Week'
- Setup your default work week to block off those regular work week days and hours which you are almost always NOT available
(eg.. I work 8-4pm Monday through Friday during the season)
1. choose Block Part Day
2. select the time range to block off
3. enter the date range to apply this block to;
4. select the days of the week with that schedule to block
5. select APPLY
- Block off portions of specific days which you generally are available, but are not (eg.. next Friday I will only be available from 415 to 7pm)
- Review this frequently to ensure it properly reflects your availability
Block off selected entire days
- Setup your default work week to block off those regular work week days and hours which you are almost always NOT available
(eg.. I work 8-4pm Monday through Friday during the season)
- Block off specific days such as days you will be OUT OF TOWN ..or Holidays or birthdays etc.. using BLOCK ALL DAY
1. choose Block Part Day
2. select the date or date range that you won't be available
3. choose Apply
Block two sections of a day (eg.. available 1-4pm on a Sunday Jan 15)
* Choose Block Part Day
* In Time Range enter your first time range block ..8am to 1245pm
* Click on the date on the calendar (eg..Jan 15)
* A block line should appear below the calendar to show that block
* In Time Range enter your second time range block ..4pm to 10pm
* Click on the date on the calendar (eg..Jan 15)
* A second block line should appear below the calendar to show that block
Clear Blocks
* choose this option, for example, if you have a regular work week ..but you have Tuesday off this week and want to work a game during the day.
* select Clear Blocks
* click the date number in the Calendar below... when i click on April 7 that block disappears
LISTS
Here you will find the ability to print out a list of KBOA officials and their contact information.
Also you will find a list of game sites and their full addresses (though you would likely use Google on your phone to find the school)
