Self-talk is such an important skill for all of us to use. See how these students would use self-talk in so many useful ways.


In the story today, Rylie uses self talk to help remember something important. Think of something you can say to yourself that will help you with a problem you often have (e.g., “I can do this”, “I need to take a deep breath”, “I just need to try again”). Draw a picture of when this self talk would be helpful.
