This Special Education AG1 lesson plan, developed in collaboration with my group for my SPED 201 class at UNL, demonstrates my commitment to creating an equitable and inclusive CTE program. The lesson plan, designed for a 5th-grade math level, includes highlighted accommodations (in yellow) tailored to meet the needs of a student with special needs. This artifact showcases my ability to provide equal access to learning opportunities, regardless of students’ backgrounds or abilities. It highlights my capacity to design and implement accommodations and supports that ensure all students, including those with disabilities, can succeed and fully participate in the learning experience.
This SAE Teaching and Grading Plan highlights my commitment to providing equitable access and fostering an inclusive CTE program. Developed collaboratively with my group, the plan ensures that all students have equal opportunities to engage in hands-on learning experiences. It emphasizes providing equal access to program information and opportunities, regardless of students' backgrounds. The plan is flexible and can be modified to include accommodations and support for students with disabilities, ensuring that all learners can succeed. The structured FFA/SAE Wednesdays provide dedicated time for students to work on their projects, allowing the teacher to offer individualized support and resources to help each student succeed, regardless of their unique needs.
