Halifax's newest and hippest coffee shop comes with a huge selection of coffee and treats--including some delicious vegan goodies. 

Pros: Trendy and yummy

Cons: Poor seating, farther away. 

Location: 1656 Barrington Street AND 1468 Queen St. 

A cozy, comfortable atmosphere just a couple blocks away from King's Campus. Come for the studying, stay for the Cajun Grilled Cheese and the queer literature collection.  

Pros: Friendly, wide variety of seating options, wheelchair accessible, Vintage Thrift directly upstairs. 

Cons: You'll see a lot of people dressed better than you. 

Location: 5896 Spring Garden Rd 

This tucked-away gem is possibly the only portion of the biology department some King's students might see in their entire degree. Take the elevator to the top floors of the tower for a secluded study spot with a wonderful view. 

Pros: Quiet, beautiful view, wheelchair accessible

Cons: Out of the way, sciency, few seats so can fill up quickly. 

Location: LSC Biology Tower, top floors 

The classic Halifax study spot. Enjoy coffee from two in-house cafes, and a wide variety of study spots ranging from rooms to tables to private study hubs. 

Pros: Varied, helpful staff, food and drink, wheelchair accessible
