As new ambassadors for Blended Learning, a group of five of GMU BOLS students (including myself) created a workshop introducing and exploring Blended Learning. This workshop is designed to be implemented by any party interested in incorporating Blended Learning into their schools. It is designed for 50-100 faculty participants but could be adapted for fewer or more entrants and be helpful for adminstrators. Each person would need to have access to their own computers and teachers should bring 1 lesson they'd like to adapt.
At the beginning of the workshop, all will meet in a large gathering area for an introduction. Afterwards, there would be 2, 45 minute Breakout Sessions taught in a Blended format. There are 6 breakout sessions designed to choose from that include:
Many of these sessions are designed to be able to stand on their own and can be completed outside the workshop itself.
I encourage you to check out the Conference Website and if you wish to implement the workshop, examine the Facilitator's Guide embedded below.
