GTO-KH125

Model Details

The KH125 was officially withdrawn from the UK in 1998. Of course, Kawasaki dealerships were selling their stocks well into 1999 and beyond. However, from around 1990 the KH125 had already existed in Asia as the re-badged 'GTO' and 'GTO Speedster'.

The GTO received a number of colour and graphics updates and is still very popular in Pakistan, South America, Malaysia and Thailand (where the GTO was made). The odd GTO has been imported into the UK too.

The blue GTO pictured below was registered in the UK in 2007. It was spotted for sale on eBay in 2014. Five years after posting this image, I received an email from a chap named Gordon saying that he believed he now owned this bike and it's in sorry disrepair with a holed piston. Will it ever be revived?
