Kawasaki continued to update the colour schemes for the KH125 with the typical zeal of a company pushing a new product.
It's interesting to note that the Candy Lime Green livery with black and white blocks incorporated into the graphics, looks very different from the typical stripes on the blue version. Personally I love the look of the Lime Green styling and it's my favourite looking 'A series' colour. I think it's no coincidence that the off-roader KE125 which Kawasaki claim the KH was a street version of, also had a very similar lime green paint job with back and white blocks. Of course Kawasaki used green on their race bikes too.
The brochure for the A3 pushes the bike as one ideal for beginners,"Looking for your first bike? Look at this beauty, it's got everything you want to get you started, style, power, great brakes and handling. The KH125A is your ideal introduction to motorcycling because it's so simple to ride you'll get your confidence instantly ...". Of course, in those days there wasn't too much in the way of training, if you were lucky you had a mate who might show you the ropes otherwise it was literally learning to ride by reading the owner's manual! Oh how things have changed.
Below are two different versions of the brochure, both had the same images and bumf on the back but one shows the Candy Royal Blue version and the other the Candy Lime Green bike. I still think the plain black side panels look a bit odd though!
