Rita Xu, originally from China, completed her undergraduate studies in chemistry in Minnesota. Outside the lab, she enjoys traveling, watching K-dramas, and exploring new foods. A true foodie, she appreciates a wide range of cuisines, including French, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese, as well as American favorites like fries, burgers, and ribeye steaks.
In the lab, Rita is a highly skilled specialist with broad expertise spanning from single-molecule analysis to whole-animal studies. She has authored more than 20 manuscripts, including several first-author publications PMCID: PMC11405995, PMC7484403, PMC5307331.
