Collaborations

1. Regulation of PKA 

   We are working with Dr. Susan Taylor and Jin Zhang (UCSD) to study novel regulation of PKA in pathophysiological responses.

2. Nuclear transcription

We are working with Dr. Zhao Wang (City of Hope) and Dr. Xia Yang (UCLA) to study gene expression in single cardiac myocytes and its implication in cardiac development and regeneration

3. Novel GPCR regulation in metabolism and cardiovascular biology

We are working with Dr. Joaquin Lado (UC Davis) and Dr. Cheng Zhang (U. Pittsburg) to study novel GPCR in fat and heart

4. Hyperglycermia in cardiovascular physiology

We are working with Dr. Manuel Navedo (UC Davis) and Dr. Dale Abel (UCLA) to study the impacts of hyperglycemia on the heart and vessels.

5. Alzheimer's diseases

We are working with Dr. Johannes Hell (UC Davis) to study amyloid peptide and its regulation of the CNS adrenergic-LTCC axis in Alzheimer's disease

6. Sympathetic regulation of heart and vessels

We are working with Dr. Tzung Hsiai (UCLA) and Dr. Crystal Ripplinger (UC Davis) to apply advanced bioengineering and imaging tools to study peripherial neuron interaction and regulation of heart and vessels.
