In April 2017, I led a team of 4 to participate in the Berkeley Builds Social Impact Designathon.
Role: Project Leader and UX Designer
I interviewed the Project RISHI members to uncover problems and needs. From these learnings, I led a brainstorming session with my team to discover themes and ways we could help.
With our ideas, we got to working. I designed the mockup/prototype using Google Slides (haha), while the marketing/business expert contributed to the app's goals. Our engineer was able to implement some basic functions of the app.
Results: 1st place for Project RISHI's design prompt.
More details and the actual prototype are in the Google Slides presentation linked here.
