Blockchain Application in the Automotive Service Industry

This extensive research paper describes an innovative approach to the automotive repair industry - the application of blockchain and IoT-connected devices with Augmented Reality (AR). Based on interviews and external research on the automotive industry, I identified possible gaps in the industry where blockchain can be applied to simplify the process for both repair shop and the customers.
All interviews were done in Waltham, MA in 2017. Total participants N = 13
Additional literature reviews of the industry was also conducted.
