UMass Students for Justice in Palestine Club
The Students for Justice in Palestine Club at UMass Amherst commissioned me to create a one-color graphic for digital marketing, posters, and apparel. My role was to craft a clear, powerful message and design a layout that would work across multiple formats.
This project, titled Compliance is Violence, also served as my senior capstone and involved months of research into effective design activism. It gave me the chance to apply my illustration and typography skills in a meaningful way. I developed four variations of the design, then, by hand, produced over 35 custom screenprinted posters. Additionally, screenprinting the final design onto colorful extra prints from my BOREDOM art study to give some of the posters a unique touch.
