My name is George Kessler, and I’m a graphic artist and designer based in Providence, Rhode Island. I create custom typography, branding, posters, publications, merchandise, and websites — with a specialty in screen printing and apparel design.
My work blends creative direction with hands-on production, drawing inspiration from artists and designers like Emory Douglas, Saul Bass, Barbara Kruger, Peter Saville, Basquiat, and Shepard Fairey. I approach design as both an artistic process and a form of communication — connecting concept, experimentation, and craft to tell visual stories.
Beyond design, my studio practice spans silkscreen printing, painting, mixed media, and photography. My projects often explore rhythm, distortion, and repetition as ways to examine perception and creativity. In 2025, my solo art exhibition BOREDOM explored how boredom can be a catalyst for artistic innovation.
“I want to make beautiful things, even if nobody cares.”
~ Saul Bass
