BEHIND A WINDOW.
BOREDOM Art Exhibition
I created BEHIND A WINDOW in December 2024 during a six-month exploration of boredom as a creative tool. This 30” × 22” silkscreen print (edition of eight) was made through a spontaneous “call and response” process, breaking from traditional printmaking methods. I layered eight colors and printed with found materials—garlic skins, mesh fabric, and cheesecloth—to play with distortion, balance, and repetition.
The piece became the headline work of my BOREDOM exhibition and was featured on the cover of UMass Amherst’s Jabberwocky Journal and in The Scribe.
