I have a huge amount of love for ink in all its forms. I started at an early age with Parker Quink but, years after (and not so long ago) I had a Diamine epiphany (Green Umber) which was soon joined by a range of colours from Diamine, Ferris Wheel Press, Troublemaker and a host of other beautiful tones, sheens and hues.
For the past few years I've loved taking part in a range of themed ink challenges - from Inktober to Inkvent - especially challenges which themselves come with a new daily ink to play with... Each day throughout May, October or December I'd try and draw for 30 mins a day to create something, at the end of the month, which was a thing of collated beauty.
Work has taken over my life a little, but this year I'm intending to rearrange the ink/work/life balance.

Aaaaand then there is Moleskine.
I could say sketchbooks and, certainly for the first couple of decades it was any sketchbook that came my way (often a cheapish WHSmith's special).
But then I discovered Moleskine pads, or at least I discovered the joy of their uniformity (in size) and uniqueness (in cover) and for the past couple of decades it's pretty much those and none other. Love them.. definitely a blog post to come on just my Moleys.
Moleskine, Scriveiner pen, Diamine Gold Star and Vintage Copper inks.
Current pad: Moleskine, Ritter and Lamy pens, FWP Knitted Nettle and Cream of Earl inks.
Sometimes I blend ink and digital (more often than ever nowadays) and this one will always make me smile loads...
This drawer photo is a while ago and... well... it's a lot more full than it was then ;)
