The Dutch Pen Show - prologue.

Vroom vroom...

A few years ago I was staffing a college open day on a Sunday and thought 'there's a LOT of motorbikes going past me....' on the way in. Thank goodness I chose to investigate further prior to work start as it introduced me to the fabulous Distinguished Gentleman's Ride.

Not at work on Sunday but still chose to go in, just to see the bikes. I'm not a petrol head in any way (although do like the parts of Top Gear/Grand Tour that aren't the boorish bits). I did video it but that, I don't think, will give me enough captured footage to make a video... 

Instead I used it as a chance to play with a couple of different phone cameras. Below the Honor Magic Pro 5 which has been my daily driver for a good few years now. Great phone, still great camera, I do NOT like the new AI/auto photograph improving setting which I've yet to find a way to turn off.

And then the Nothing phone 3A Pro. On paper a worse camera (I think) but for the most part I preferred the shots. Been aiming to go to the Nothing shop again and see how the 4a and 4a Pro perform but don't think a new phone is on the horizon for me for a while... 

Would LOVE to play with some of the next gen of phones from Motorola, Oppo, Vivo, Samsung etc. Definitely getting that mobile phone creativity itch again.
