Do you enjoy sports? If so, then it's possible that you might have even heard of the program before. But can you really make money with the ESPN Streak?
That is what we wanted to understand, therefore we decided to download it and give it a go. I'll be super-honest here--I'm not a big sports fan. I don't typically watch sports games, go to sporting events, or even play sports (out of some basketball on the rare occasion I find folks to play ).
So right out of the get-go, this program was an improbable one for me. However, I was decided to look it over. I am not above getting into sports a tiny bit if doing this could make me extra cash. I was not sure how much you could make with this one, which I decided to do a little bit of reading about it until I actually got started.
Here's what I found out.
The tag-line for your program in the Google Play store reads as follows...
"Place your prediction talents to the test using ESPN Streak For Your Money."
I wanted to know more, however, so I took a look at the Read More section, also did a little research there.
Here is a little blurb from the Read More section that will help to explain exactly what this program does...
"This popular game challenges you to construct the longest streak of correct picks out of a daily list of matchups across the entire world of sports"
Basically, you attempt to build a streak of right picks. And if you do good enough, then you win money.
But is that the only way you can win? Is there some way to earn additional money in case you don't receive the longest run? I wasn't quite sure about what types of rewards the rest of us (people who did not have the longest run ) could anticipate, and that's exactly what I had been the most enthusiastic about finding out.
To do that, I chose to begin within the app itself... however here are the basic stats which I looked in before launching it up.
The app has more than 1 million downloads, has a 4.1 rating on Google Play, and has been analyzed by almost 10,000 people. These are pretty impressive numbers. But my main concern here was the additional cash (hey, call me what you want... but all of us need some side-cash nowadays ).
So I chose to have a close look at the program more carefully.

Upon opening up it the second timeI was greeted with this screen... which appeared like the'hub' of the program. There were several menu options along the bottom, and a series of games you could create your'picks' from. This is the location where you scroll down and attempt to choose who is going to win... or so it seems.
However, I wanted to learn more about what the app can make you... therefore I decided to do a little bit of digging about in the menus.
To start with, I opened up the'settings' menu, and discovered a lot of helpful sub-topics... like a FAQ section.

So I started studying around. The first thing I looked at was the'How To Play' section, that was actually quite enlightening, though brief. Here is what it seemed like...

Next, I looked in the rules. This section was longer, and I scoured it to get advice about what you can truly win. I wanted to figure out how much you are able to actually make on this app, and it was proving difficult to figure that out.
In the end, after quite a lot of studying, I came across this section.

So, essentially, monthly prizes are handed out to individuals who wind up'winning.' As far as I could tell, there are no smaller bonuses or prizes to play, besides'winning it ' at the monthly interval, which seems to reset each month, giving every player a new chance to win every 30 days or so.
The app itself looked pretty good, actually. The'My Entrance' page also makes it very easy to keep track of your picks, your stripes, and in which you now stand.
I guess the whole purpose of the app would be to select who will win out of each of those offered matches. And if you win more occasions in a row compared to anybody else, you win the big prize. Additionally, there are other picks that you may make that do not appear to be based entirely on the team/athlete winning, but on certain numbers, etc..
Again, I'm not even much of a sports person, however I can see that with a working knowledge of the games which you are picking could really impact your success with an app like this. Selecting just randomly likely wouldn't cause you to very much achievement. Educated picks are likely going to do the most good, or so it might appear.
Also, I should add that the app is free to work with, and it will make the sports more enjoyable for people is viewing them. If I had to start using this program, it would give me a far better reason to start paying more attention for athletics, and would even cause me to root for the teams longer, because I'd have a real stake in the performance.
The picks appear to change somewhat from day to day, and clearly you need to choose between the actual picks available in the app. Not every video game or sporting event is coated.
Here are the upsides and downsides I noticed about this app as I looked it over and tried it out.
The upsides. The app seems to work very well. In addition, it seems easy to use. They also make it simple to keep track of your selections, and they appear to do a really good job of giving you a variety of events to choose from. In addition they offer fairly big advantages for the winners each month, which will be great.
Winning $5,000 for choosing the best streak would obviously be an awesome way to earn extra money... in case you might actually succeed at it. Obviously, there is the problem. With this program, there's not any guarantee that you are going to pick successfully--so that you can not really count on winning anything whatsoever.
However, with that said, the time investment required is minimal, as it really only requires a minute to select your picks... therefore, if you are already a sports fan, you may easily compete for a chance to win without any genuine extra effort on your part.
The drawbacks? That you won't acquire anything if you don't win all of it. There don't seem to be some rewards for anybody but the winner, thus for the vast majority of users, a prize won't be won.
This isn't a criticism of this program, mind you. This app is really amazing, and it is absolutely free to use. It's only that it may not quite qualify as a dependable means for making more money. It is much more of a sports game app than a profitable app--and as such, it doesn't really hold the appeal for me that it would need to hold to maintain a stable place on my mobile cell phone.
This does not signify that it is not good. It merely suggests it might not be the a quality way of adding some extra money for your pocket.
You might like this program if you're really into sports, and if it doesn't really matter to you in the event that you win some cash. But if you're purpose is to earn additional money, then this app will probably do just two things... 1, it is going to get you excited about sports or give you... and two, it will likely frustrate you since the chances of you making extra cash with this are slim.
In case you put in it and then use it on your phone?
Honestly, when you figure out the time spent attempting to make money with apps, it rarely works out to be more than just a couple dollars a day. The majority of the time, you will only make a few dollars per month. Personally, I think my time is worth more than that!
