Student Trips 

Annual Field Trip to Pilsen, Chicago 2012-2023

Each year I would take a group of around 30 students to the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago. We would visit an authentic Mexican bakery and candy shop and then do a walking tour of the murals in the area. Following this, we would have a guided tour of the Day of the Dead Exhibit at the National Museum of Mexican Art. Before leaving, we would have a catered Spanish lunch of tapas and paella at Café BaBa Reeba.

I strongly believe in experiencing other cultures first hand. I have organized four trips and led three of them abroad. I only missed one trip due to the birth of my son. I absolutely love watching students experience Spanish and Latin culture.
