I have spent the past 2 years working at Illinois Central College (ICC) as their Faculty Development Coordinator in their Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence (TLE). The TLE serves as the LMS (Canvas) administrator for the college as well as provides pedagogical and technical assistance to the ICC Faculty. We work closely with other staff, faculty, and SMEs to ensure the best education possible for our students. We provide bi-monthly workshops on educational topics, a monthly news letter, a mentorship program for new faculty (New Faculty Experience), and trainings on how best to utilize Canvas.
