Painting for Final review in a layout on a platform base that connects with your character's theme.
Move away from line work, only using if it tells the story of things like stitches, veins, metal edges etc.

Start with a larger file to be able to zoom in.
I started with 3000 x 3000 knowing ultimately the work would need to be within the constraints of 1920 x 1080
Your Creature Design needs to be in a square or horizontal for best viewing on computers.

White Fill for easy flats
Change the white fill to Color Fills
Tone over the color
Textures on an overlay layer over the tone
These include the cement block, backpack, cloth, rainbow and Covid-19
Details and more paint over all of those layers
Lighting, highlights, focused on the hair, face, staff and mace.
