The Bamboo Construction Workshops are hosted by US-Filippino architect Ray Villanueva. Ray is the co-founder of Kawayan Collective Agriculture Cooperative. Since opening in 2019, Kawayan Collective has supplied over 130,000 construction grade bamboo poles in the Philippines.

BASE BAHAY is a global leader in bamboo construction. Its multi-national engineering team has developed numerous research and testing programs, including the National Housing Authority accredited Cement Bamboo Frame Technology (CBFT) system for affordable housing.
