Rationale: The Cohort 12 collaborative website represents the foundational artifact of my doctoral journey at NJCU. As a group project, this work required me to collaborate with peers across diverse professional backgrounds to create a shared digital space that reflects our collective identity as emerging educational technology leaders. I selected this artifact because it demonstrates my early ability to integrate technology meaningfully within an academic community, a skill that aligns directly with my professional role as a Clinical Supervisor where teamwork and digital communication are essential. This project marked the beginning of my commitment to using technology not merely as a tool, but as a vehicle for building connection and professional identity. It illustrates growth in the Fundamentals of Educational Technology Leadership domain, particularly in the areas of collaborative digital design and cohort community building.

Rationale: The Individual Cohort Showcase artifact represents my personal contribution to the Summer Institute I experience and reflects the development of my professional identity as a doctoral candidate in Educational Technology Leadership. I selected this artifact because it was my first formal academic presentation within the NJCU EdD program, requiring me to articulate my background, professional goals, and vision for educational technology leadership in a clear and compelling way. This work connects directly to my practice as a bilingual educator and childhood development specialist, as it demanded that I synthesize my diverse experiences and communicate how they converge toward a unified doctoral focus. The showcase serves as an anchor artifact that establishes the trajectory of growth documented throughout this portfolio.

Artifact: Professional Growth Plan (PGP) — Initial Version

Rationale: The initial Professional Growth Plan developed during EDTC 801 represents the starting point of my intentional path toward educational technology leadership. I selected this artifact because it documents my early self-assessment of strengths, areas for development, and the goals I established at the beginning of my doctoral program. As an educator and specialist serving bilingual and neurodiverse children and families in New Jersey, this plan was deeply personal, it required honest reflection on where I was professionally and where I aspired to go. This artifact is foundational to understanding the evolution of my leadership philosophy and professional goals as evidenced throughout the rest of this portfolio.
